I’m Harmony Pena, a product designer passionate about crafting user-centered digital experiences. I approach design with empathy, curiosity, and attention to the little things.

Design isn’t just about visuals—it’s about how something works, how it feels, and how it fits into people’s lives.

My Story

My journey began with an Associate’s in Computer Science, but during my Bachelor’s, I discovered a passion for product design—where design, technology, and storytelling shape how people interact with the world. This led me to pursue a specialized Bachelor’s in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at The University of Texas at Dallas, where I learned to turn complex challenges into thoughtful solutions.

While studying, I worked in customer-facing roles across retail, pharmacy, and technical support, honing problem-solving skills and understanding how people interact with systems and services. Combining these experiences with my academic background, I aim to create designs that feel intuitive and genuinely useful for both the users and business.

Outside work and school, I’m drawn to the subtle details that influence how people experience the world—the layout of a space, the typography on a menu, or the surrounding colors and textures. Creativity has always been part of who I am, shaping the way I design and helping me craft experiences that connect genuinely with people.
